Sektorová analýza oblasti energetiky pro společnost TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, a.s.

Abstract

The main aim in this thesis, commisioned to me by the company TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY Inc., is to analyze energy sector. It mainly targets to recommend a draft of strategic objectives, but also specifies concrete strategies to achieve those objectives with regard to the expected development in entreprises macro environment. It also takes into account the expected progression of energy sector, stated on the strengths and weaknesses of said company. In this work I theoretically characterized energy sector and current knowledge of strategic analysis and strategies that could be drawn from it. I performed an analysis of enterprise as well as macro analysis of company’s close environment. I used the Porter's five forces method. The purpose of this work is to design the recommended strategy for the energy sector for TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY Inc.
