Abstract

There exists a lot of information about ways how to charge lead-acid batteries. It often happens that we understand this problem in a bad way and inappropriate treating may cause destroying of the battery. The sense of this thesis is to revive and summarize basic knowledge about various types of lead-acid batteries. There are described various possibilities how to charge them. The practical part compares influence of pulsed and invariant-current charging for usable capacity of lead-acid battery of AGM technology.
