Abstract

This thesis is focused on the impact of corruption on economic growth. This relationship is examined in a group of OECD countries with the inclusion data from the period 1998-2011. In the work are used different statistical methods, the greatest emphasis is placed on multiple regression analysis performed using the least squares method. Futher at work is used descriptive, komparative and correlative analysis. Within regression analysis was compiled based on the model of the model Romer and Lucas, into which were in addition to corruption as explanatory variables included growth in gross fixed capital formation, the number of patents and education index. The analysis resulted under conditions ceteris paribus, the negative impact of the level of corruption on the level of economic growth.
