Abstract

This thesis is concerned with assessing the feasibility of using troudnatce contraband (Fomitopsis pinicola) as potential biosorbents for the removal of hexavalent chromium from aqueous solution and examining the various factors that affect the biosorption process. The paper describes the methods of grain size and heat treatment of samples biosorbents, together with the chemical activation. Upon activation of the cell wall binding sites troudnatce contraband (Fomitopsis pinicola) was used hydrochloric acid concentration of 0.1 mol / l and 1 mol / l Within the blank was used instead of activating agent is distilled water. High efficiency of adsorption was achieved at the granularity adjustment sorbent fraction <0.5-1 mm and the chemical activation of hydrochloric acid of 1 mol / l for 15 min. Suitability biosorbents was confirmed by determining its sorption capacity depending on the pH, temperature, speed and concentration of sorbent. Samples were analyzed by spectrophotometric determination of hexavalent chromium with 1.5 Diphenylcarbazide.
