Abstract

This thesis deals with the design of a safe working procedure for the recovery of precious metals from used catalysts prior to their recycling and also the evaluation of the technologies used in terms of occupational health and safety, the assessment of occupational risks associated with this activity, the design of technical and organizational measures to eliminate risks and then the design of the local operational safety regulation itself, which will be an effective protection against the risks that this specific work activity entails, if the individual steps are followed.
