Strategické riadenie v malých a stredných podnikoch

Abstract

This thesis was focused on strategic management in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It was concentrated on exploring the development of a strategic management, on detect used tools and on analyzing the environment that surrounds enterprises. As a questioning method a questionnaire was used. The questionnaire results show that most SMEs are focused on the future, not only to solving current problems. Enterprises are trying to track market trends and estimate future developments. Tools of strategic management are used in more than half of SMEs. Firms also reported that customers, competitors and macroeconomic indicators have an influence to them.
