This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the current situation concerning the barriers and provides a new barrier free path solution for Stará Bělá district. A draft on the elimination of the barriers with the aim to create a barrier free external environment in this location was created on the basis of the analysis which provides photographs and measurements concerning the problematic locations. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to increase the accessibility to common facilities and public transport particularly for people with limited abilities for movement and orientation. The final design of pedestrian zones is in accordance with the Czech technical norms and relevant legal regulations including The National Development Programme Mobility for All (NRPM).
