Abstract
This thesis examines the influence of the stiffness of the machining process. The thesis contains an introduction to the theory of machining. At the beginning of next chapter, in which I describe clamping tools and workpieces, principles and options for specific machining technology. I described the influence of the stiffness of the machine tool and the workpiece for machining processes. The experimental part describes the influence of tool length on the quality of the machined surface and optimization possibilities of cutting parameters
