Abstract

The goal of the bachelor thesis “Profitability and liquidity analysis of the firm” is to evaluate the profitability and liquidity using the methods of financial analysis, especially financial ratios and their detailed decomposition. Theoretical part is focused on the description of financial analysis and its methods, especially focusing on the characteristics of profitability and liquidity. In practical part the chosen methods are applied on the Manutan s. r. o. company. Based on these calculations the relationship between business profitability and liquidity is evaluated and the results are compared with the industry and chosen competing firms.
