Abstract

The theme of the work: making sculptures. I made an African sculpture Mbuli Ngulu which, used in funerary rituals of African indigenous tribes in Gabon and Congo. Sculpture protect and commemorate the dead is living. Plastics are also used in rituals. In the theoretical part, I described the search and discovery of African art general and the formation and function of sculptures Mbuli Ngulu. The practical part, is devoted to a detailed description of the manufacture of bronze casting.
