Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the restoration of the Jawa 350/638 engine. The restoration took place in a prototype workshop. Both modern and period technologies were used in the process, along with new parts, with the utmost emphasis on originality and authenticity. The theoretical part will describe the components subject to wear and the corresponding repairs needed to restore the engine to excellent condition. In the practical part, all these components will be analyzed to deter mine whether their condition is acceptable or if they need to be replaced. I will also attempt to identify the causes of their failure.
