Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the modernization of equipment for crushing plastic waste. The introductory part of the thesis deals with programmable logic controllers in general, where the PLC used in the practical part of the thesis is then introduced in more detail. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the analysis of the device itself, which discusses the function of the PR1500 crusher and the design of a control system for modernization. The system design shows the system connection and describes all hardware modifications. The design of the control system also solves the graphical description of both the overall function of the device and the individual parts of the program. The practical part is divided into the implementation of the control program according to the design and creation of a visualization system for the implemented control system. The program is implemented in the development environment Step7-MICRO / Win, which is designed for PLC Siemens S7-200. The visualization software is implemented in the WinCC flexible 2008 program, for HMI type TP177 micro. In the visualization system, information and control elements for the operator are solved, as well as setting elements for a person with higher authority.
