Analýza vlivu ekonomických šoků na finanční výkonnost vybrané společnosti

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the financial analysis of a selected company. The aim is to analyze the impact of economic shocks on the financial performance of the chosen company between 2018 and 2022. The thesis is divided into five chapters. In the introduction, the objective and structure of the thesis are specified. The financial analysis methodology is presented in the second chapter, which is then applied in the practical part. The selected company, an international, integrated oil and gas company in the energy sector, is characterized in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, individual ratios, financial health assessment models, and profitability ratio variance analysis have been applied. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the selected company performed well despite the unfavorable situation in the world. The company is profitable, has higher short-term indebtedness and low liquidity, but complies with the solvency rule and is financially stable. It can be summarized that it is a financially sound company with prospects for further operation.
