Abstract

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to analyze and evaluate activities related to the selection and recruitment of new employees in a banking company. The partial objective is to evaluate these activities on the basis of interconnection with excessive employee turnover and to create recommendations for its reduction. The first part of the diploma thesis is the theoretical part, which describes, on the basis of professional literature or other sources, key terms related to the solved issue. The practical part of the diploma thesis consists of a description of the activities of selection and recruitment of employees in the selected banking organization and other critical activities related to the issue. Part of the practical part is also a questionnaire survey to help in creating a recommendation and conclusion of the diploma thesis. The aim of the recommendation to the organization is mainly to eliminate the weaknesses of recruitment of new employees, their selection or excessive turnover.
