Abstract

The theme of this thesis is to analyze the management of the chosen municipality specifically the village Hodslavice. The aim of this work is the analysis of the municipality Hodslavice in the years 2012 - 2014, evaluation of its revenues, expenditures, financing and monitoring of this village. The work is focused on the development of the municipality Hodslavice and there are listed completed projects in recent years as well as proposals and recommendations for the future development of the village. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the terms of characteristics of the village, its institutions, activities and competence. There is also an explanation of the terms of the income and property of municipalities, which include financial analysis of municipalities and their accounting. The chapter also describes the system of EU funds and subsidy providers such as Ministry for Regional Development, and the Ministry of Agriculture. Practical work is focused specifically on the village Hodslavice. In this chapter there are listed overall characteristics of the village by PESTLE method, described strengths and weaknesses, but also opportunities and threats by using SWOT analysis. The chapter includes a comparison of the municipal economy in the years 2012 - 2014, presents an overview of gained grants in the years 2012 - 2014, acquired loans and monitoring of the village Hodslavice in these years. In conclusion the proposed recommendations and investment activities for the future development of the village Hodslavice are suggested.
