Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development of a business plan for the Maluza café and bistro located in the centre of Olomouc, which responds to the current trend of healthy eating. The aim of the thesis is to design a business project and assess its feasibility. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to entrepreneurship and business planning, including its structure, legal forms of business in the Czech Republic, and the organisational structure of a company. Furthermore, selected methods of analysing the business environment, marketing strategies, financial planning, and risk analysis are presented. The practical part focuses on the development of a specific business plan for the Maluza café and bistro. It includes an analysis of the market, competition, and target customer group using PESTLE analysis, Porter’s Five Forces model, SWOT analysis, and a questionnaire survey. Based on these analyses, a marketing plan and a financial plan, including break-even point calculation, are proposed, and the main risks associated with the implementation of the business plan are identified. The outcome of the thesis is a comprehensive business plan that demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed business project and may serve as a basis for its potential implementation.
