Abstract
This Bachelor's thesis is focused on the structure and characteristics of the bearing steels, forging technology process of steel class 14109 and heat treatment. Technology procedure of forging of the bearing steels on SAKAMURA machine was compared to forging on machine LHK 500.
In the first part is evaluated influence of the structure and other characteristics of the initial material for bearing steels. The main focus is on description, characteristics and heat treatment of the bearing steel 14 109 (100Cr6). There are described the main factors which influence characteristics and quality of the bearing steel dedicated for production of bearing rings. Besides that, there are also described other external factors which have remarkable influence on the steel quality.
Next part is focused on technology procedure of the steel forging on the multi-stage forging machine SAKAMURA, description of the tools and related processes. Source informatik and photos were received from my employer and they were included in this thesis with his kind permission.
