Abstract
This thesis compares classical electrometers with so-called new generation electrometers and features theirs practical application. First chapter contains theoretical analysis of electric energy metering, definition of electric power and energy, physical principle of classical electromechanical electrometer, description and simplified block diagrams of electronic electrometers with analog and digital processing. Second chapter particular describes construction and functions of selected types of classical electrometers from various manufacturers. Third chapter similarly describes selected types of new generation electrometers, which can monitor electric energy quality next to their consumption. Fourth chapter processes data about reclamations of electric energy consumption, given by ČEZ company. This foreshows application of modern electrometers in supply points with low electric energy quality.
