Abstract

The Master thesis is focused on new rules and changes related to emergency line 112 coming from European Electronic Communications Code. The presented material contains a legislative basis of given issues and transposition to national legislation of the Czech Republic. It also provides a basic overview of the areas resulting from the European Electronic Communications Code such as advanced mobile location, public warning system, accessibility for end-users with disabilities and access to 112 from online platforms. In the second part, there are more fully described selected functioning systems abroad and an overview of possible implementation in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the acquired knowledge is evaluated.
