Efektivita systému interní komunikace ve vybrané firmě

Abstract

The main theme of my thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of internal interpersonal communication in a selected organization. There was a survey conducted in the selected organization´s neurosurgery department, by using an anonymous questionnaire method which obtained necessary data for the analysis of communication within the organization. An analysis of the data showed that the internal communication in the department of neurosurgery is set up well, althought I managed to identify communication barriers that reduce its effectiveness.

The aim of this thesis is to highlight shortcomings in the interpersonal communication among staff in the neurosurgery department. I suggested ways to improve the information transmission and information speed without any distortion which thereby improve teamwork. These suggestions can lead to better analysis of information and thereby contribute to improving the social climate within the department, thus increasing satisfaction, which benefits all, not just staff but also the patients themselves.

I have handed all thesis results, suggestions and recommendations directly into the hands of the head nurse of the department of neurosurgery. I believe that the submitted materials will help the department eliminate the barriers in communication, and thus increase the efficiency of the department, and its productivity.
