Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the issue of wildlife crossings in the landscape. Roads and highways form long, often insurmountable barriers for animals. The work focuses on this global problem and mainly deals with the enumeration and characterization of migratory objects and follows with practical examples, whether such objects built its function and is used to migrate not only large mammals, but also a wide range of other fauna. The thesis is divided into theoretical (search) and research (practical). For the evaluation of migration objects selected in the Czech Republic so far the only comprehensive methodology called migration objects to ensure continuity of roads and highways for wildlife (Anděl et al., 2006).
