Abstract

This bachelors project is about the physical principals of temperature sensors and by following these principals the sensors can be divided into the individual categories which are resistance metallic and semiconductors, thermoelectric, dilatation and contactless sensors. The practical part consists of measuring with three types of sensors that are most common in electrical engineering - thermistor, platinic rezistance and diode PN sensor. You will find their measuring characteristics depend on temperature, calculated values and parameters, faults and catalogue values. In conclusion the results of temperature sensor measurement values can be compared.
