Hodnocení konkurenceschopnosti EU a USA

Abstract

The aim of this work is compare the level of competitiveness of the EU and the U.S. based on data obtained from international organizations. A partial objective is to evaluate how the various comparisons with the U.S. led the individual EU Member States and to identify differences in approaches to competition policy the EU and the U.S. The diploma thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introduction. The second chapter describes the theory of competitiveness, characterizes international competitiveness organizations and analyzes multi-criteria indicators. The third chapter describes the documents and strategies that govern the policy of increasing competitiveness in the European Union and the USA. The fourth chapter compares the level of competitiveness of economies and the economies of EU Member States and outlines their strengths and weaknesses. The fifth chapter summarizes the findings.
