Analýza procesu ESR a stanovení vlastností tavných strusek

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the ESR process and the determination of the properties of melting slag. The work is divided into two basic parts. The first part is focused on theoretical knowledge from the analysis of domestic and foreign literature. This part is focused on the description of the technological arrangement of the ESR equipment and the process of producing remelted steel ingots, the description of the slag used and the study of foreign literature on the influence of slag on the chemical composition and metallographic cleanliness of steel during electroslag remelting. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the practical study of the influence of melting slags and their thermophysical properties. Attention is mainly paid to the melting temperature and dynamic viscosity of melting slag for the electroslag remelting process. Furthermore, the work is devoted to the evaluation of the practical results of the metallographic cleanliness of steels after electroslag remelting under the conditions of ŽĎAS, a.s.
