Abstract

The design proposal is based on the output of the urban solution of this locality, as a design proposal of a new development and public space in an area with a predominant transport infrastructure. The area extends on the axis S-J, creating an unused area of former buildings of a railway character in the very center of Holešovíce. The content of the diploma thesis "Mental Health Center" is based on researches and analyzes of the area of Prague - Holešovice and its urban design proposal. The aim of the thesis is to design object, which should provide adaptation and meetings with people which have similar issues in spere of mental health, as well as provide conditions for meditation and self-searching. One of the design proposal´s part is also the surrounding public space solution and provision of transport service of the object.
