Abstract
This thesis deals with reactive power compensation. It elaborates the basic behavior of the circuit and instruments for improving power factor, thus reducing losses and costs. This thesis also focuses on getting acquainted with the technical means of compensation in practice and creating the proposal of compensation in industrial networks.
