Abstract
The diploma thesis describes effects of serious accident. It gives an information overview and theoretical research about phenomena covered VCE - Vapour Cloud Explosion, BLEVE, Flash Fire, Jet Fire and Pool Fire, including causes and consequences, various scenarios leading to each of the events and describes actual accidents. Chapter 4 describes the phenomena VCE in detail cover, study of its origin and behaviour and other relevant factors influencing VCE. Chapter 5 explained modeling techniques for estimating consequences and compared theoretical research with realistic accident.
