Abstract
The subject of the diploma thesis is financial benchmarking of selected financial indicators of the car company TATRA TRUCK a.s. A suitable company to compare selected financial indicators is Iveco Czech Republic, a.s. This company operates in the Czech Republic in the field of bus production and has a similar production focus. Introductory part of the thesis it is focused on the presentation of companies and a brief overview of the current theoretical definition of benchmarking and ratios in the literature. The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate and evaluate financial indicators and on the based on the results of the indicators, the diploma thesis contains a proposal for measures to improve the competitive position of TATRA TRUCK a.s.
