Abstract

This thesis focuses on the issue of the non-profit sector, nongovernmental organizations, the definition and characteristics, economic and legal standards and funding. The thesis contains theoretical backround of this topic and a practical evaluation of the management and activities of a particular civic association and the subsequent proposing recommendations, which should lead to an improvement in the financial situation and management of the organization.
