Předvstupní pomoc EU a modelování konvergence na příkladu Chorvatska v období přístupového procesu

Abstract

The aim of diploma thesis is to introduce and identify aspects of the pre-accession assistance, the enlargement process in the conditions of Croatia and modeling of economic convergence of this country to European Union average. Diploma’s thesis consists of five chapters. The second chapter defines the theoretical background related to economic convergence, followed by issue of enlargement complemented by a typology of the pre-accession instruments. In the third chapter we can find further characteristics of the enlargement process and realization of pre-accession assistance on the particular example of Croatia. In the fourth chapter there is explored the convergence process of Croatia at national and regional level to the Union average. There were used selected mathematical and statistical methods for modeling and analysis.
