Bezpečnost nanotechnologií

Abstract

Diploma thesis is divided into three parts by content. In the first part, a brief characteristic of nanotechnology word is introduced. There are basic terms, possibilities of nanotechnology utilization, their division and risks they involve. The second part is focused on different approaches of operating the risks in European Union, the Czech Republic and the USA. It is a summary of available information given by Czech and foreign sources and evaluation of approaches of different countries. In the third part, a process of manipulation with nanomaterials is designed. This process results from general procedures used for manipulation with dangerous substances and includes specific features that are typical for nanomaterials.
