Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of centralized purchasing activities in the company AGC Flat Glass Czech a.s. The thesis outlines the theoretical background of centralization, its benefits, risks, and practical impacts in the areas of supply, logistics, and supply chain management. The practical part analyses the economic benefits of centralization based on internal company data. The analysis also includes recommendations for further development of the model, with emphasis on more efficient use of framework contracts, inventory management, and the role of information systems.
