Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on selection of a suitable armored transport vehicle, depending on its features, parameters and purpose. The first part presents the issues of transporting cash and other valuables by an armored transport vehicle and aspects related to this activity, such as risks threatening such transport, individual elements ensuring security during transport, requirements for employees performing transport and their defensive, protective and other means. The second part, based on market research, contains a summary of the basic required tactical and technical parameters that each hardened vehicle must have, a selection of several vehicles that meet such basic parameters, their further evaluation using decision matrix method and forced decision matrix method according to their characteristics and other offered functions and elements. The result is a final selection of vehicles offering the best level of safety combined with other important parameters.
