Abstract

The bachelor work deals with evaluation of occurence of selected metals in every single part of environment. Properties of micro- and nanometric particles of metals and their substances, which take part on toxical effect including outline possible mechanism of interactions with living organisms, especially humans are also judged. Mainly, the attention was paid to exposure routes and transfer of particles from mother to fetus via amniotic fluid. Obtained amniotic fluid samples were analysed by scanning electron microscopy with X-ray diffraction analysis. The method detected presence of metallic particles in majority of analysed samples.
