Abstract
The thesis is focused on the Education of Officials Ostrava City Authority. The work is divided into four chapters contain theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part focuses on the theoretical bases of education of local government officials. In the second, practical part deals with education officials Ostrava City Authority. The aim is to assess the educational system Ostrava City Council in 2007 - 2011. The solution will be based on two hypotheses. The paper used a method of analysis of scientific literature, document analysis, comparison and time series methods and correlation analysis.
