Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis called “Art School in the Michal Mine“ in the study branch of Architecture and Civil Engineering is based on a worked out design in the subject of Atelier Study IV. Only a part of the building is solved and this is further developed into the design documentation stage for building construction. The thesis is divided into a text section and drawing documentation which you will also find attached. The text section describes the existing situation as well as the enclosed design. Further on the text section includes an elaborated covering and summarizing technical report and a technical report for the building in compliance with the Notice 499/2006 Sb. referring to the building documentation in the scope given by the thesis supervisor. A specialization consisting of architectural details is also attached to the drawing documentation. The object of my work was to preserve the existing design of the listed industrial building and at the same time to install a new operation so that all operational and aesthetical requirements for the use of the interior were fulfilled.
