Abstract

The Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the controlled reduction Cr2O3 issue from slag during the production of stainless steel in electric arc furnace. In the introductory section is the description of the electric furnace and the method of melting in this device. The following section is based on the analysis of literary knowledge focusing on the operational experience in the manufacture of chromium stainless steels with controlled reduction of Cr2O3 from slag.
