Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on a historical development of luminaries and design and a development of design luminaries in the second half of the 20th century. The practical part is based on design and realization of a cast candlestick whose parts were made from cast iron and bronze. The thesis contains description of production processes from design, production of the model and casting to the final arrangement of the casting.
