Abstract
The aim of this bechelor thesis is a comparison of selected banks in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia, during the period 2007 – 2011. Comparison of banks is performed by selected indicators. The bachelores thesis is dividend into five chaptures. The first is introduction and fifth is conclusion. In the second part is characterized banking sector. In the third part is methodology of selected indicators. The fourth part is an evaluation of selected banks.
