Author: Petra Sittová Title: Analysis of the profitability of the banking sector in the Czech Republic and Slovakia The aim of this thesis is to determine the profitability of the banking sector and the CR and Slovakia to establish a banking system is better. This thesis has three parts. In the first part of the banking sector have been described both countries. In the second part was described profitability, including the analysis of deviations. The third and main part focused on the decomposition of profitability for each period using both methods of analysis of deviations.
