Abstract

This thesis deals with the topic of the transport of ions through ion exchange membranes in selected solutions. The theoretical part focuses on the description and separation techniques of membrane processes. This part also describes ion exchange membranes, their characteristic features and transport mechanisms. The practical part focuses on testing of selected salt solutions by electrodialysis. Finally, the selection of salt solutions transport through ion exchange membranes is evaluated.
