Abstract
The main aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze and experimentally confirm the effect of the change of the pyridine-3-carboxylic acid molecular structure on its explosion parameters by adding the bromine atom to its structure in the solid state with the application of results in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In the framework of the work, the experimental apparatus was validated to measure the explosion parameters of the dust-air dispersion, optimize the measurement systems of the explosion chamber and analyze the dependence of the explosion parameters on the initial conditions. In total, more than 40 original pressure records were measured. Above and beyond the scope of the work, the influence of the initial temperature, the initiation source and the booster system on the values of the explosion parameters of both chemicals was determined and discussed. The originality of the work is a quantitative evaluation of the acid and compound explosion parameters, which is formed from this acid by the replacement of a hydrogen atom with a bromine atom. The thesis interconnects basic and applied research and leads to the implementation of so-called application-oriented basic research.
