Abstract
In this master thesis the main emphasis has been given on a design of an artificial indoor lighting system and its control for the purpose of a continuous light level. The artificial lighting system in the testing room is controlled according to the incoming daylight through the testing room's openings, such as windows. An intelligent electro installation KNX has been used for the control. The main reason for such a control are then the savings of electrical energy as the artificial lighting system is not only fully switched on but is adjusted to the incoming daylight, thus consuming lower amount of electrical power. The work done in this master thesis is based on mathematical calculations, which are compared with real data measured in the testing room. The mathematical calculations of the energy savings are then drawn up to the lowest possible energy saving. In the result, it has been proven that the data measured either correspond to the mathematical assumptions or these assumptions exceed.
