Mobilní aplikace pro ovládání rádiového scanneru Whistler TRX-1

Abstract

This bachelor thesis aim is to create a mobile application for controlling handheld radio scanner Whistler TRX-1 from an Android device. The work includes familiarizing oneself with the scanner's communication protocol, functions, and control possibilities, designing a suitable interface for controlling the device, and implementing a mobile application that enables control of the scanner through the interface. The work also involves designing a suitable connection to the scanner, either through the USB host mode of the Android device or a suitable WiFi/BT to USB converter. At the end of the thesis, the solution was tested and compared to the functions available directly on the device. The result of the work is a functional mobile application for controlling the scanner, which brings greater convenience to the user when using this device and allows the user to better utilize the scanner's functions.
