Analýza modifikace litiny plněnými profily

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the production of cast iron with spheroidal graphite (LKG) modification with filled profile (PP). The modification of the cast iron with the filled profile was verified in the operating conditions of the cast iron foundry. During pilot smelting, two types of filled profiles were tested - Ø 9 mm with FeSiMg25 pre-alloy and Ø 13 mm filled with FeSi with the addition of 30% technically pure Mg. The modification always processed 600 kg of liquid metal in a modification ladle. The effectiveness of the modification was evaluated on separately cast test specimens. The quality of the modified LKG was evaluated using the achieved microstructure, mechanical properties and calculation of the efficiency of the modification documented by the use of magnesium, including a comparison of the costs of modification of two types of filled profiles Ø 9 and Ø 13 mm.
