Abstract
This thesis examines the influence of dust grain size on minimum ignition energy. The opening chapter contains important terms that occur in the thesis. The following section provides examples of accidents and historical background investigation of explosive dust, using an electric spark. Third chapter provides theoretical information about the explosion. Fourth chapter deals with the approximation of the measured samples, their production and properties. In the fifth chapter devices are listed that were used for the measurement and sample preparation. Chapter number six describes in detail the process of sample preparation, determination of bulk densities and its results. The last chapter is dedicated to the measurement, it shows charts of measurements and lists the results of individual measurements.
