Problematika hydrických rekultivací v oblasti Mostecké pánve

Abstract

My Bachelor thesis is focused on the rehabilitation of the landscape after surface mining. The most common types of reclamation are reclamation of forestry and agriculture. Currently the devastated areas are restored using water reclamation. In the first part of the thesis I present a description area of the Most coalfield. At the present time it is divided into area kadaňsko-chomutovská, central-most region in the East and bílinská teplicko-ústecká. In this section are also listed mining areas of brown coal. In the second part, I describe the evolution of mining of individual sites in the basin, including the history of the industry in this sector, characteristic for the region. In the third part I deal with issues of drainage of residual pits after surface mining in the area around the Most basin, central mostecko-bílinská section. By a hydrological land restoration large areas are returning into the new permanent status, creating a new landscape. By flooding the territory with water it ends up being a lake that becomes part of the restored landscape.
