Vypracování studie vnímání pocitů bezpečí obyvatel města České Budějovice

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis examines residents’ perceptions of safety in the city of České Budějovice. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the factors influencing citizens’ subjective sense of safety and to identify safety risks in the city. The theoretical section focuses on defining basic concepts in the fields of criminology, crime, crime prevention, and victimology. The practical section is based on a questionnaire survey and interviews with representatives of city authorities and the Czech Police. Based on the data collected, an FMEA safety risk analysis and a Pareto chart were conducted. The thesis concludes with proposed corrective measures aimed at improving safety in České Budějovice.
