Abstract

The content of this work is the processing of data needed to the quality of water analyzing of reservoir Kružberk as supplying drinking water for Ostrava and its surroundings during the last 10 years. Selected indicators of monitoring are discussed in detail and shown in tables and compared the graphs, which are evaluated. The first part is devoted to the theory of problems associated with current legislation and the general characteristics of reservoir Kružberk. Concrete assessment indicators focuses on the second part of the work, containing information about the quality, comparability and graphic representation, preceded by an explanation of terms associated with water quality, i. e. monitoring, process monitoring, sampling, etc. The last part included the evaluation of results and opinions on ongoing changes in water quality with a view to future years.
