Analýza a syntéza řeči na mobilním zařízení pro zrakově postižené

Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to create a software solution, which will help to make the basic mobile device operations easily accessible by visually impaired people using the speech synthesis and recognition technology on Android platform. First of all an analysis of the mathematical approaches used for creating and recognizing a human speech signal is made, including available tools for Android platform. Next, actual existing applications for visually impaired on the market are chosen and analysed. From the results of the analytical part of this thesis, a solution is proposed, implemented and tested on a real mobile device, which includes fundamental functions as: SMS management, contact management, text reading, time, mp3 player and transport vehicles departure search inside the city of Ostrava.
